Brave Jatayu the Eagle
As Sita was being carried away, a great old eagle named Jatayu saw her.
Jatayu was Rama's friend. Though he was old, he was very brave.
"I will help you!" he called, and flew up bravely to try and stop Ravana and free Sita.
Jatayu tried with all his might. He was only one old eagle, but he did not think twice about helping a friend in trouble.
His brave heart was bigger than the whole sky.
Being brave means trying to help, even when the task is very big.
